Discovery Workshops
Our teams will allocate dedicated time for both group and individual engagements to best understand the critical needs driving the choice of SAP system tool, and draw relationships to what functionality will meet those needs. A discussion of implementation and workflow is also part of this process. Generating honest feedback increases the initial adoption rate for the platform, especially when SAP is not the top preference of some participating individuals.
Phased Approach
Based on scope definition and requirements grouping, we provide sequencing guidance that helps you execute a successful implementation both from an organizational readiness and capability area maturity. When reviewing IBP and Ariba projects, we typically see phases of 16-24 weeks, dependent on business scope and complexity. S/4 HANA phases may be broken up differently, dependent on selection of included Logistics applications (i.e. aATP or Manufacturing Planning & Scheduling).
Detailed Milestones
Project phases are managed using a combination of traditional implementation time blocks and agile sprints. We maintain constant involvement of key resources and executives for oversight and approval of milestone progress and phase sign-off. Providing detailed milestones allows executives and project sponsors to better facilitate management of the implementation, and establishes an escalation procedure for addressing unplanned scope or functional issues.
