ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide SAP, APO and IBP consulting on internal projects and also for client engagements. Assist in determining information technology goals for the organization and implement computer systems to meet those goals. Work with designated business project resources at customers to define and document new business processes and functional requirements that once deployed achieve projected business benefits. Map business processes and requirements to systems, modules and their functions as well as prototype, configure, and develop complex system functions in SAP Supply Chain Planning tools including Advance Planning and Optimization (APO) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP). Work with SCMO2 principals to develop service lines in the IBP Demand Planning and Supply Network Planning areas that can be offered to clients to help them drive business benefits.

Participate in and lead opportunity assessments, Request For Proposal responses, oral presentations, pre-sales product demonstrations and other customer specific sales efforts. Train other employees on new service lines that he has helped to develop. Review existing SAP issues and provide solutions, document work according to client documentation standards, identify design improvements for existing SCM design, train project team members on SAP APO and IBP functionality, and how to troubleshoot common issues, prototype new processes as requested, execute break fix and project related tasks using project methodology, procedures, and tools as requested by project team leader.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

BS or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering (any branch) or Business or Related and 5 years relevant progressive experience in Supply Chain Management projects specializing in SAP software services including experience implementing SAP Advanced Planning and Optimizer (APO) including: APO SNP Optimizer configuration; SNP Deployment Optimizer; APO PPDS Optimizer; APO Demand Planning; and Core Interface (CIF) Integration, including two years of experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning, SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SNC) and SAP Business Warehouse experience OR Masters or foreign equivalent in above and 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management projects specializing in SAP software services including experience implementing SAP Advanced Planning and Optimizer (APO) including: APO SNP Optimizer configuration; SNP Deployment Optimizer; APO PPDS; APO Demand Planning; and Core Interface (CIF) Integration, including Two years of experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning, SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SNC) and SAP Business Warehouse.
